50 shades of Blue – Santorini

I couldn’t possibly fit all the pictures we took from Santorini in just one post. So here’s another treat for your eyes.

Day 3, we woke up at sunrise and everything looked so so blue.

We left to Oia right after and it was the BEST idea ever! We had the whole place to ourselves. It was completely empty and there weren’t any other tourists around.

It felt like going into a world full of colour…

Isn’t this church magnificent? :’)

Every cobble stoned pathway led us to a different view.

This whole place was filled with secret stairways! I couldn’t get to them all 😦

I tried capturing this stunning Village of Oia as much as I could, but no picture could do justice to witnessing this in person. It was too much beauty to take in just 3 days.

We came back here again in the afternoon and it was just as incredible. This time, we went to Bay of Ammoudi first.

The water is so clear! ❤

Theres a way from Bay of Ammoudi to go up to the Village of Oia. And again we were too lazy to climb so many stairs. 😛

Once we reached, there were a lot of tourists! So I was kind of glad I came earlier. The weather was sunny and windy.

(Tip : WEAR ALOT OF SUNSCREEN!)

As you can see in the pictures, at sunset the whole place was packed with people trying to get that perfect view. When the sun was setting everyone became quiet and after it we all applauded. It felt amazing to be with people from different corners of the world just to witness this.

I will for sure come back here again and stay longer next time.

It was totally worth it.

xx,

~San.
